Chris Joce is a Personal Trainer and fat-loss expert based in Swansea. Chris has been a Personal Trainer for almost three years, spending one of those years in Cardiff learning the trade, before moving back to Swansea and starting a very successful business.
Chris is a mobile trainer, using parks or beaches and also client’s homes for sessions. He also has access to a number of gyms so his client’s routine is constantly varied. Chris comes from a sporting background having played football in the Swansea league for 15 years. He has performed well at a host of other sports including rugby, swimming, boxing and cycling and is always on the lookout for new sports and activities to try. In fact in March 2012 he will be spending a week cycling through Death Valley in America to raise money for charity.
Along with his personal training qualifications, Chris is a Kettlebell Trainer level 1 strength and conditioning coach, a CrossFit level 1 coach and has a CrossFit olympic lifting certificate to his name. He is a keen crossfitter with the training philosophy of always pushing yourself to the limit, constantly varying your routine, performing functional movements that your body was made for and above all else, correct form and technique when performing any exercise.
Chris is a great believer in the saying “success requires no excuses, failure permits no alibis.” If you put in the hard work and become successful in your training then you deserve all the plaudits you receive. But there are no excuses or valid reasons for not exercising regularly and everyone, no matter how old or young, should be having fun exercising and staying functional. All of his workout routines are different and imaginative and keep his clients happy and motivated which is all he asks from them.
